Visionary Requests is the place to ask for movies or shows to be added to Visionary. It is powered by Seerr, the request and media discovery system connected to Visionary.

Search for movies or shows, submit requests, and check whether something is pending, approved, declined, or available.

Search For Media

Look up movies and shows before asking for them. This helps avoid duplicate requests and makes it easier to find the exact title you want.

Submit Requests

Request movies or shows you would like added to Visionary. Requests go into a queue and can be reviewed before they are added.

Track Status

Check whether your request is pending, approved, declined, or already available. This is the best place to see what happened after you requested something.

See Existing Requests

Some requested titles may already be visible. If someone else already asked for the same thing, you may not need to request it again.

  • Request things you actually plan to watch.
  • Avoid submitting the same request multiple times.
  • Check whether the item is already available before requesting it.
  • Be specific when there are multiple versions with the same name.
  • For shows, make sure you are requesting the correct series.
  • Give shows extra time, since they can involve more episodes and seasons.
  1. Open Visionary Requests.
  2. Sign in with the same account you use for Visionary.
  3. Use the search bar to find the movie or show.
  4. Open the correct result.
  5. Select the request option.
  6. Submit the request.
  7. Check the request status later to see what happened.

Pending

The request was submitted and is waiting to be reviewed or processed.

Approved

The request was accepted, but it may not be available immediately.

Available

The item should now be available to watch in Visionary.

Declined

The request was not accepted. This may happen because of availability, duplicates, quality, storage, or other limits.

Requests are not always instant.

A request may take time depending on availability, quality, file size, storage, duplicates, or whether the item can actually be found.

An approved request also does not always mean the item is immediately ready to watch. Some items need time before they appear in Visionary.

If a request looks stuck, missing, duplicated, or incorrect, ask for help in Discord.

Helpful details include:

  • The title you requested
  • Whether it was a movie or show
  • The request status you see
  • Whether the item appears in Visionary
  • A screenshot, if useful
