Playback Help & Reporting

If something is buffering, freezing, skipping, missing subtitles, or refusing to play, this page explains the best way to report it and what details help most.

💬

Discord Server

The most reliable way to submit a playback complaint and get help.

Recommended
  • Best place for troubleshooting and follow-up questions
  • Useful for screenshots, examples, and status updates
  • Helpful if you are not sure whether the issue is just your device

Report In Discord

📩

Contact Me Directly

You can also file a playback complaint by contacting me directly.

Alternative Option
  • Useful if you already have a direct way to reach me
  • Good for sending follow-up details or screenshots
  • Include the same details you would normally post in Discord

Discord is still the most reliable reporting option, especially for faster visibility and updates.

1

Say Where It Happened

Name the device and app or browser, such as Fire TV, Roku, Chrome, Safari, or Jellyfin.

2

Name The Title

Include the exact movie or show. For shows, include the episode or season if relevant.

3

Describe The Problem

Explain what happened as clearly as you can, and add a screenshot if there is an error message.

Buffering Or Stuttering

The video starts, but pauses often, loads slowly, or stops every few seconds.

🖥️

Black Screen Or Infinite Loading

The title opens but never starts properly, or the screen stays blank.

🔊

No Audio Or Audio Problems

Sound is missing, delayed, out of sync, or only one audio track seems to work.

💬

Subtitle Problems

Subtitles are missing, incorrect, out of sync, or do not appear on a specific device.

⏭️

Skipping Or Early Ending

An episode or movie jumps ahead, exits early, or behaves strangely during playback.

📱

Device-Specific Issues

Something works in one app or device but not another, such as the browser working while Fire TV fails.

Helpful Details

  • Device: Fire TV, Roku, iPhone, Android phone, Chrome on Windows, and so on
  • App Or Browser: Jellyfin app, Safari, Chrome, Roku client, Fire TV app, and so on
  • Title: The exact movie or show, and episode details if needed
  • What Happened: Buffering, black screen, no sound, subtitle issue, app crash, and so on
  • Scope: Whether the issue affects one title or everything you try
  • Screenshot: Especially useful if there is an error message or unusual screen

Refresh Or Reopen

Refresh the page or fully restart the app before reporting the issue.

Try Another Title

This helps show whether the issue is one file or a larger playback problem.

Test A Browser

If possible, try the same account in a web browser to compare behavior.

Check Server Status

Review the Server Status guide in case the issue is service-wide.

“Fire TV app freezes after pressing play on Doctor Who (2005) Season 1 Episode 2.”

“Chrome opens the movie page, but the video never starts and stays on a black screen.”

“This one episode has no audio, but other episodes seem fine.”

“Subtitles are missing on Roku, but they appear correctly in the browser.”
